You’re in luck:  SheSays has partnered with Boulder Digital Arts (BDA) in 2019 to offer 3 scholarships for their Certification Programs. These are intensive, in-depth programs that emphasize practical knowledge over academics. They use a project-based learning approach that combines engaging lectures with a lot of hands-on practice.

 

The mission of this scholarship is to help members of our community reboot their careers and level up professionally so they can thrive. SheSays covers $1,000 of the desired program!

 

Three lucky ladies can level up their skill set, knowledge base, & career with the help of Boulder Digital Arts. BDA offers a range of intensive  Certificate Programs like:

 

  • Graphic Design
  • Digital Project Management
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Web Design
  • Video Production
  • UI/UX Design
  • Digital Marketing
  • …and many more

WHY WE DO IT?

The overarching mission of SheSays is to get more women into leadership and thriving professionally. To do that we combine community, events, and speakers  to help more women hit the top of their fields. We know that sometimes it takes a little skills training and education to shift your career or improve your job (and life). That’s why we’re offering professional career growth to our local SheSays community!


WHO IS SHESAYS BOULDER?

We are 1,600+ highly-engaged women who are active in the digital world – from digital marketing and creative, to programming and entrepreneurship. We cover a lot of bases and bring in an array of awesome ladies at all levels of their career. In just 5 years, we have built a solid reputation for fantastic quality programming, great networking, and relevant, inspiring content.

 


THE BDA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM


The mission of of this scholarship is to help members of our community reboot their careers and/or level-up their skills so they can continue to thrive in our digital community. This will be accomplished by offering in-depth, intensive certification courses that have a clear and concise learning outcome, and each participant receives a certificate of completion. Finally, most programs are limited to only 10 participants so that the instructor can engage with every participant.

All applicants must fill out the the online form below in order to be considered for the scholarship. Applicants must agree to the SheSays Boulder community requirements before accepting the scholarship funds (part of the online application process).

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Recipients of the SheSays’ BDA scholarship are entitled to ONE Certification Program.

 

 

  • The SheSays Scholarship covers up to $1,000 of the desired program. If the program is MORE than the $1,000 scholarship, recipients will need to cover the remaining cost.

 

  • Some classes are not offered when you receive the scholarship so we allot a 6 month grace period to register and take your desired certification course.

 

  • Required: Provide a short Bio and headshot so we can share it on our website and Meetup page.

 

  • Required: Create 2 short blog posts about your experience during the course of the program.

 

  • Required: Create 2 social posts during the course of the program linking SheSays and BDA on Facebook or Twitter.

 

  • Optional: Selected scholars have the option to speak for 1-2 minutes about themselves and their Scholarship experience at a SheSays Meetup.
