Meet Abby Driscoll – SheSays Scholar & Peak to Peak Impact Founder

I am thrilled and honored to have been chosen for the SheSays Boulder scholarship for classes at Boulder Digital Arts!

I applied for this scholarship to help further my new marketing and PR consulting business, Peak to Peak Impact. I started my own business to bring marketing and public relations strategies to businesses and the nonprofit sector, leveraging my experience in political campaigns, health care, philanthropy and nonprofit management. My daily work is driven by passion for social change coupled with policy, communications and marketing know-how.

Sometimes life takes unexpected turns.
I got my MBA in 2007, but the world of marketing, digital in particular, has changed exponentially. By implementing marketing tactics that incorporate the latest digital tools, I want to help nonprofits and business realize their full potential. Marketing is no longer about selling. It’s an interactive process that engages consumers in the moment. E-commerce can be tracked and linked directly to email campaigns and social media ads to help businesses constantly learn and recalibrate based on buyer behavior.

At Peak to Peak Impact, I want to take the same business marketing strategies and apply them to nonprofits looking to reach their target audience and maximize their donor base. I believe that nonprofits can strengthen and grow their organizations with fundraising strategies that successfully link communications and development.

I’m excited to get started with classes at BDA to further hone my digital marketing skills to bring the latest online tactics to my clients. By learning practical skills from the experts, I can build my skills in various digital marketing platforms and techniques. So far I have signed up for online classes in Search Engine Optimization, Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Millionaire Marketing on a Shoestring Budget.

Given that I am a single Mom, the online classes offer a great option for me to be able to take the classes at home, when my schedule allows (most likely after 8pm on a school night!) I also signed up for an email marketing course that will take place in February, which can’t come soon enough.

Thank you again, SheSays Boulder and Boulder Digital Arts for this amazing opportunity!
